What is the difference between javelin throwing and other throwing events?
Throwing is divided into four categories; javelin throwing, hammer throwing, discus throwing, and shot put.
Among them, the javelin throwing event I partake in is the only event that I participate in early on. Women's javelin is a record competition where 600g of javelin is thrown at 2.2m to 2.3m.
Unlike the other three events, javelin throwing is characterized by linear motion. The discus and hammer shot turns, but the javelin is a way of throwing a spear as far as you can in a straight line after a speedy maneuver.
What are the qualities you should have as a throwing athlete? What kind of supplementary exercises (training) do you do for it?
“Elasticity, speed and power” I think it is important to harmonize those three things.
So I do weight lifting and javelin throwing techniques three times a week. I really don’t like to do weight lifting, but in order to throw my favorite spear my body muscles need to be firmly supported.
And as for supplementary exercises, I throw a medicine ball. Since javelin is an outdoor event it can be affected by weather and is then replaced with a medicine ball instead, especially during winter training.
What is the most memorable moment while working as an athlete?
My most memorable moment was setting a PB (Personal Best) in April last year.
When I was in my third year of high school I suffered an injury, a ruptured ligament in my elbow. My doctor told me that I would not be able to participate in the national athletic competition that was coming up. I challenged the lack of enthusiasm and continued to exercise and take my medication and when the time came I won a prize in the national athletic competition.
But since then, I haven’t been able to set any records as a slump had taken over. Then last year, I broke out of it by achieving my personal best 3 times.
I’ve participated in the National University Competition. At that time there were at least three players needed for the competition, but there were not many players throwing so I remember the fun memory of participating in javelin and hammer throwing at the same time, winning third place.
What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player? What efforts do you make to overcome them?
I think the physical part is a strength. Compared to other players, a taller person makes a bigger finishing move, which is an advantage. Another strength is that I enjoy exercise. I’m happy that I can do what I love as a job.
A weakness is the lack of speed and muscle strength. Not only does it lead to injury when I increase the weight due to lack of muscle strength compared to my physique, but when throwing in game or training I often don’t have enough power at the end. So the record doesn’t come out as good. So I’m trying to increase the weight without injury, through weight and rehabilitation training.
The public's understanding of javelin throwing is low, so I’m sure you have a lot of difficulty as a player. What are your goals that you want to achieve in the future?
Since throwing javelin is an unpopular sport, there are not many places for throwing. It is also regrettable that there are not many places nationwide that meet the standards, so there are not many options to practice at.
In addition, it costs about 100,000-300,000₩ per training window, but the reality is that it is difficult to get a budget for that window. I hope these areas will improve and create an environment where players can practice more freely.
My personal goal is to set a PB (personal best) without injury. The target record is 52.50m, I will achieve this goal with WaveWear products.
Do you have any particular WaveWear products you would like to recommend?
The products I usually wear are the calf and elbow sleeves, both of which are very durable. Even if I wore the products for a year, I feel that it supports my calves and elbows as if it was the first time without any issues. In particular with the calf sleeves, most third party products fall down or loosen as you use them so they didn't work out. With WaveWear it holds firmly so it’s possible to do intense workout without them falling down.
Due to the nature of javelin throwers, elbow guards are the most popular. The most common elbow injuries with throwing are ruptured inner ligaments. However these products have a silicon wave pattern on the inside that holds the muscle in the outer direction, so I hope the hold is firm.
The product I want to recommend the most is also the elbow sleeve. I’m getting a lot of help when training because it supports my elbow and doesn’t interfere with mobility. Especially after elbow surgery, there was always a risk of injury recurrence so I was worried, but I am really satisfied with being able to focus more on my performance after wearing these products.

Isabella: My name is Isabella, and I am a figure skater from Colorado. I have been skating since I was 5 years old. I met Ivan about a year ago, and together we decided to pursue skating at the senior level in the US. Currently, we spend a significant amount of time training, spending six hours together every day.
Ivan: I am Ivan, and I am from Moscow. I started skating when I was a kid, around 4 years old. In March 2020, I came to the US. For the first couple of months, I skated alone, and in May, I met Isabella, and we started skating together.
The first main difference is that when we talk about ice dancing, it means skating with a partner. It is somewhat similar to ballroom performances and has a strong emphasis on dance. On the other hand, figure skating consists of solo performances, with a greater focus on jumps and tricks. Another significant difference is that ice dance requires more endurance.
Isabella: I have always admired Tessa Virtue. She is a Canadian ice dancer, so she practices the same discipline as us. What I truly love about her is the way she skillfully balances athleticism and dance. I always strive to achieve this same balance and quality in my own skating.
Ivan: When I was really young, there was a famous Russian skater named Evgeni Plushenko whom I admired a lot. He participated in the Olympics and I believe he won more than one medal. He is truly a renowned skater.
Isabella: I believe there is a significant push to incorporate more challenging elements into skating compared to the past, which can create pressure. Everyone strives to perform the latest and greatest tricks and jumps, and the rules are becoming more stringent. The technique has become more stringent, requiring skaters to be significantly stronger, faster, and more powerful than before. Consequently, it becomes challenging to avoid falling into the trap of focusing excessively on elements of the dance and not giving life to your performances.
Isabella: I am really loving the Y20 compression leggings. I appreciate how well they fit and how they look. Finally having a pair of compression leggings that are comfortable to wear brings me great joy. I believe they are assisting with my performance, although it's challenging to determine the exact impact since my training varies daily. Nevertheless, I believe they are making a positive difference.
Also, I find the silicon tape inside helpful. I am not used to taping every day, and to be honest, I can be quite lazy about it. Even when I experience muscle soreness, I often don't tape myself properly. It can also be challenging to purchase the tape and apply it correctly. However, Wave wear makes it incredibly easy. I just put them on, and I know that the tape effect is present, simplifying the entire process for me.
Ivan: I really like the F1 sleeves because they have a cool appearance, and the silicone tape gives you a sense of "power" from within. Additionally, I appreciate the comfortable fit of the R10 top.
Isabella: Probably, the most memorable moment I had with Ivan was during the national championship last year. Our program performance was Latin-themed, and it was incredibly enjoyable and filled with vibrant energy. That particular performance is something we both take great pride in. Additionally, it was the first time I competed in front of such a large audience (a few hundred people), and I could feel the energy emanating from the crowd. It's an experience I am looking forward to living again in the future.
Ivan: I think I felt the same energy as Isabella at the national championship. I am looking forward to participating in another event like that. Also, It was my first national competition, so I was incredibly excited.
Currently, my favorite is cycling. It has a sense of novelty and freshness that I find appealing, and the fact that I’m still learning adds to its appeal to me. Even on my school-free days, I often find myself cycling around with my friends. Cycling brings me a great deal of pressure.
I also consider cycling one of the most challenging activities I’ve pursued. As I continue to learn, I’m focused on developing various cycling techniques, including handling skills, advanced balance, and riding with one hand.
I engage in two strength training sessions each week while also simultaneously training in two different sports. For instance, on certain occasions, I may opt for a combination of running followed by swimming, swimming followed by biking, or even biking followed by running, with intermittent breaks in between. Typically, I dedicate around 3 to 4 hours per day to my training regimen.
In every triathlon race, runners have more of an opportunity to change the place that they finish in. I am trying to focus more on running because in swimming and cycling, it is harder to gain a higher placement once the race starts. In running, the fastest runners can gain on their opponents much easier.
The L20 Leggings are very comfortable, like extremely comfortable, and alongside the tape in the leggings, I noticed that it reduces the fatigue when I run. I noticed that it reduces my recovery time as well so I can prepare well for my next training session. All other leggings that I’ve tried in the past have been too thick and I found them uncomfortable. The L20 leggings are light and breathable which is exactly what I need.
Last month in Singapore, the TriFactor Singapore International Triathlon. It was a qualification race to qualify for the 2023 youth games. Out of all the Malaysian competitors, I came in second and got a ticket to the youth combo games. I am currently waiting for the Olympic Council to announce the event but I finally feel like my hard work paid off since I completed such a big qualification.
My pre-race routine/ritual is about a month before the race, I will not consume any cold beverages as I find that it allows me to preserve my stamina. I won’t eat any ice cream or even drink cold water. After training I will pour cold water on myself to cool down but I will not drink anything cold. I will only consume warm things and I find it helps my stamina and overall performance.
My main goal is to be ranked number one and hopefully quality for the 2025 Sea Games in Thailand. I also hope to win a medal in the 2027 Sea Games which is in my home ground. I think that would be very special.

I am a national sports climber and a member of the national team for speed climbing. Currently, I hold the new Korean record for speed climbing, completing the 15m inner wall climb and touching the top touchpad in just 5.434 seconds. In the global rankings, I am currently placed 21st.
Speed climbing is a one-on-one tournament where the objective is to climb up the 15m inner wall as fast as possible and hit the touchpad at the top. It's similar to a climbing track and field event, where the winner is determined based on who completes the climb the fastest. The competition is in the round of 16 tournaments, and the mental battle between opponents is crucial. Even a small error could cost the victory, which is why a high level of concentration is necessary.
There are three main types of climbing: bouldering, lead, and speed. I spent the first eight years of my 10-year climbing journey as a leader. However, speed climbing was recently split into separate events and has become a popular discipline in the Asian Games and Olympics. Therefore, I decided to focus on speed climbing to achieve better results.
What I love about speed climbing is that it is very objective, and I can see my progress numerically. Each time I surpass a previous record or target, I feel a great sense of satisfaction and joy. The thrill of pushing past my limits motivates me to continue challenging myself.
The main difference between the three types of climbing is how you use your body. Lead climbing demands a lot of endurance and is performance-driven. You have to maintain control and pace as you navigate the route one step at a time.
In bouldering, you must solve problems within a four-minute time limit. To do this, you must simulate the route in your mind beforehand, using excellent judgement to solve problems quickly.
Speed climbing, on the other hand, is a simpler discipline. Unlike lead and bouldering, where the route changes every time and requires different training methods, the official route in speed climbing remains the same. Although weather conditions such as wind can affect the climb, the sport is less burdensome than others since you can focus solely on your performance.
This is perhaps why new records are being set in Korea, with some reaching the early 5-second range, while the world record is getting closer to the 4-second mark. In fact, climbing 15m in 5 seconds requires moving as if your body is following a pattern learned through practice, rather than thinking and moving consciously.
I focus on solving problems with agile movements, which is why I prioritize body mobility over strength training. To achieve this, I engage in aerobic and resistance exercises using bands, as well as mobility exercises that increase joint strength and flexibility.
For my workouts, I use equipment like Kettlebell and Landmine, as well as incorporating bare body exercises and stretching. Additionally, I take special care of my hands, which are crucial in climbing. If I experience throbbing pain or injured finger joints that prevent me from sleeping, I use a paraffin machine to help with recovery.
In summary, I prioritize body mobility over strength training to enhance my problem-solving ability through agile movements. I use various exercises, equipment, and techniques to achieve this, including taking extra care of my hands.
Strangely, the bigger the international competition, the less nervous I become. Being overly nervous can negatively impact your ability to perform at your best, even if you have prepared extensively for the competition.
To prepare for the competition, I follow a routine. The night before, I go to public baths, saunas, or jjimjilbangs to sweat a little and then sleep soundly. I wake up seven hours before the competition and go for a light run. I prioritize eating well, resting well, and getting good sleep.
As a member of the national team, I have a particular mindset when it comes to competitions. I treat it as being on stage, and as a part of that mentality, I neatly place my uniform on a hanger the day before the competition.
I often felt exhausted after exercising due to the strain on my body, such as stiff knee joints and tight calves. However, after incorporating leggings into my workout routine, I noticed a significant reduction in the burden on my body. This is especially noticeable in my lower body, which is typically weaker than in other areas.
I wear leggings during every practice session, and I've noticed that my lower body has become faster and more flexible as a result. Even during aerobic running and lower body strengthening exercises, which can be challenging, I can maintain stable control, which helps me feel less tired and recover more quickly the next day.
In the past, the other leggings I used were uncomfortable and made me feel stuffy, but the WaveWear L20 leggings are much better! They present a mesh treatment on the back of the knee, which helps prevent sweating during activity. Additionally, they play a crucial role in protecting against injury during practice, where even a small mistake can have serious consequences. I've personally experienced the benefits of wearing your leggings and highly recommend them.
I have competed in around 10 international competitions to date, and my most memorable achievement was setting a record of 5.5 seconds and breaking the official Korean record at the tournament in Salt Lake City, where I ranked ninth. The feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment was overwhelming, and I aim to experience it again.
My nearest goal is to participate in and win a medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics next year. I aspire to achieve good results, but first, I must qualify to participate.
As the competition is crucial, my primary objective is to stay healthy and avoid injuries or illnesses. My physical condition was not ideal last year due to frequent injuries, so this year, my top priority is to train safely and consistently. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

I had always dreamed of becoming a soccer player until my second year of high school. Unfortunately, I had to undergo surgery and fell into a slump, which caused me to stop exercising. I deliberately avoided exercise for a while, but one day, a friend recommended that I come to the futsal field.
Joy can be experienced quickly. Usually, a game lasts between 12 and 15 minutes, and a lot of things happen in this short period of time.
While it may seem comparable to soccer, there are some differences in game style due to the significant difference in playing space. Futsal, for example, is played in a much smaller area, requiring quicker movements and faster reflexes.
I play the Ara position in my sport, which requires both offensive and defensive skills. This position has a wider range of activity compared to other positions, making it physically demanding and requiring high strength.
Despite the challenges, the Ara position is attractive because it plays a decisive role in both defense and offense.
I have been exercising since childhood, and despite never having any major injuries such as broken bones, I suffer from chronic knee and ankle pain. To manage this, I apply ice packs regularly and also perform ankle-strengthening exercises using bands. Building ankle strength not only improves shooting ability but also helps prevent ankle sprains, which are common in futsal due to frequent collisions in a small space.
During a previous game, I suffered a concussion from a head injury. Although I have since overcome my fear of the ball coming toward my face, I remain cautious. While I am not as careful as I was at first, I still take precautions to prevent further injury.
In 2018, I took part in a competition held in Wonju, Gangwon-do. However, I overslept and missed the group departure time of 6:30 AM. I woke up two hours later at 8:00 AM and had to rent a car to get from Daejeon to Gangwon-do.
Luckily, my team members had already passed the preliminary round, so I was relieved to hear that. Despite the rough start, I joined the tournament and our team managed to win the championship, making the victory all the more memorable.
I am a naturally fast and energetic person. However, my weakness lies in pre-judging my opponents and experiencing mood swings during games. I am determined to work on this and become a better person through my strengths and by fighting hard.
Also, I struggle to manage my mind well during the game. In this case, I turn to my coach for help. I sometimes have difficulty clearing my head before a game, but when I manage to do so, I feel much more focused and engaged in the game.
The calf sleeve worked brilliantly. I used to experience swelling in my calves after standing or sitting for extended periods of time, but wearing the sleeve helped relieve the tightness.
Unfortunately, I did notice some slight tearing in the sleeve, possibly due to wearing it too frequently. I suspect that the intense lower body movements in futsal may have contributed to this. Despite this, I find the sleeve to be quite effective, so I continue to use it.
I am Kim Bo-yeon, and I am the manager and player for Nimble team, which is a futsal team based in Daejeon. We are currently celebrating our 10th year since being founded in 2012. Our team consists of former soccer players and amateur players who train together every week. As the oldest team in Daejeon, we are proud of our consistent participation in competitions and our ability to achieve top performance year after year.
I believe the key to our team's longevity is our strength, consistency, and teamwork. We have a deep level of trust and respect for each other, which has made us more like family than teammates.
The world of futsal is full of ups and downs, providing valuable life lessons through the act of play. My love for futsal really took off after I joined the Nimble team, and now I can hardly separate the two in my mind.
While some may mistake futsal for a scaled-down version of soccer, it's a distinct sport with unique challenges. I quickly discovered this after stepping onto the field, as the narrower space requires strong individual ball control and decision-making skills, with lightning-fast transitions between offense and defense.
In my opinion, futsal is an ideal workout for experiencing the thrill of team play through swift and decisive actions.
I am the final defender on the field. My role is crucial in maintaining a strong defense while also directing the entire team from a wide perspective. Operating in a heavily defensive position, I work in sync with players who manage both offense and defense, as well as those who concentrate solely on offense. This affords me the ability to maintain a vigilant gaze on all field players and steer our tactics accordingly.
I find it particularly rewarding when I can contribute to an attacking play, such as by creating opportunities for scoring through overlapping and creating confusion in the opposing team's camp. Additionally, nothing beats the satisfaction of successfully assisting a teammate with a well-timed pass.
All in all, I believe that my role is a fascinating position that requires strong coordination and leadership skills to guide our field players toward success.
I've had knee, ankle, and Achilles tendon surgery before, so I'm always careful when it comes to physical activity. I tape myself up, do some exercises, and ice to catch any pain early.
To avoid getting injured again, I work out with bands and do some balance board or coordination training to keep my body in check.
But the most important thing is to keep a positive mindset. I try not to get mentally weak and motivate myself to keep exercising regularly. It really helps to encourage me not to give up on staying fit and healthy!
It's all about imagining good things happening and then doing what it takes to make them come true. This is how I hype myself up!
I believe it's achievable, and I have faith in my teammates. This positive mindset helps me shake off any bad habits or superstitions before the game. And thanks to these efforts, I think I was able to bring good results in the game.
I have a pretty strong mindset, which can be a strength and a weakness at the same time. Also, sometimes I can be a little stubborn, but I am working on it, and I'm trying to be more flexible.
Even if I can't play for a while, I still wanna be a valuable player for my team. So I'm taking things easier and practicing more, all while taking good care of my body.
I tried on a WaveWear product because I had muscle pain in my calves. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it significantly reduced my pain. So I liked it, especially because it allowed me to exercise while remaining relaxed.
I have been playing soccer and football for a long time, and I have always had minor injuries and pain. What it feels different is that with WaveWear products I feel more protected than with the usual taping.
While the product generally works well during practice and competitions, there are moments during aggressive play when I would prefer a more stable feeling. Overall, I am satisfied with the product's performance and continue to use it regularly.

I started skating when I was three because my sister was skating. I saw her skating and I realized that was something I wanted to do.
I also remember my first time watching the Olympics in 2014. When I saw those girls skating, I realized that I would want to be in the Olympics some day. After watching the Olympics I started skating more and trained more. I started to progress a lot.
That was when I found my connection with the ice. Whenever I'm on the ice I forget about everything.
Probably listen to my body and I'm still learning that lesson. Because every time something hurts and you don't want to stop because there's always something coming up, something exciting.
This year was my first year as an ice dancer, and I started representing France with my partner. We had all the exciting international competitions coming up and then I had a hip injury. I was not listening to my body.
I love WaveWear leggings. I like the taping and also the compression; they're just perfect. I also tried other products like the shirts, shorts, and knee sleeves, I’ve tried all the products.
Now I really like the open back workout top.I am also using WaveWear knee sleeves because I had knee surgery five years ago, so I still try to keep myself healthy.
I think dealing with your body’s health and mental health. I believe fueling our body in the right way is important. I think young skaters struggle with that, and should be educated on this at a young age.
Learning about healthy eating habits and learning about what our bodies need is important, also having a good support system.
I really hope to make it to the world championships in the next Winter Olympics and then go to college. I think education is very important.
When I was young I happened to pass by the baseball training ground with my parents, I thought I wanted to play baseball without realizing it. But my father, a former player, knew how hard the road was, so he opposed it at first, but now he's rooting for me more than anyone else.
When I was in high school, my teacher saw me throw a ball and recommended I try pitching. Since then, I have served as a catcher and pitcher, and after going to college, I became a pitcher according to my strengths. My experience in various positions led me to realize that basic skills are just as critical as what I do.
I used to imitate Oh Seeing-Hwan a lot because I have a bit of a body and a wild style, but now that I'm in Kiwoom, I'm learning a lot from Cho Sang-Woo of the same team.
As a baseball teammate, he offers me a lot of advice despite being the same age as Cho Sang-Woo. I think it's a relationship that grows by helping each other.
I remember the day when I made my first save in the first division. After my professional debut, this year was my most successful year, and I was happy when I won my first match against NC.
I reached a career-high this year. However, I hope I can work hard to move forward without being complacent and become a player who can contribute a lot to the team.
As a baseball player, my long-term goal is to play a healthy game without injury. I want to play as a player for as long as possible.
Fortunately, I haven't been injured recently, but before I was drafted into the military, I had Tommy John surgery in 2017. At that time, I paid a lot of attention to my recovery while receiving rehabilitation from the military. I did elbow strengthening exercises the most and focused on muscle exercises so that my muscles could support me well when I throw the ball again.
The first thing that came to my mind when I wore tights was that it definitely held me well.
Sometimes I kick the ball as a hobby, and my knee always hurts. But with Wavewear leggings I didn't really feel much pain.
As pitchers, we also put a bit of strain on our lower bodies. When throwing the ball, the opposite side supports the power, so the ankle, knee, and hamstring are pulled, and the product was very helpful at this time.
Futsal or soccer is an exercise that uses the whole body. In particular, there is a high risk of injury to the knees and ankles.
Calf Recovery Tape Compression Sleeves C2
Maybe it's because of my background in soccer, but when I was searching for a new hobby, futsal naturally came to mind. I chose to start playing futsal because it doesn't require a large number of players and it's easily accessible, making it convenient for me to enjoy.
Futsal doesn't give you a chance to get bored. With the fast development of play, you can lose a point as soon as you relax. So I think the audience is more engaged.
After playing futsal for about 5 years, I feel that it is a completely different sport from soccer.
In soccer, time control is very important and there are many fights due to team tactics, long kicks, and offside rules. Instead, futsal differs in that it has to pay more attention to individual skills because it plays in a smaller space.
And futsal's physical strength must be supported more than anything else because it is fast to switch offense and defense during the game.
When you play, your calf muscles are strained and you can easily injure your ankles. I stretch my calf muscles a lot, and in the case of my ankles, I tend to put the kinesiology tape before the game.
First, I take a break then I try to reduce movement as much as possible and apply ice a lot.
Also, since I usually bump into my opponent, I'm building up my physical strength with core exercises and weights.
At the time of the Yeongdeok FK Cup, I remember scoring a lot in the last game, and all the team members were happy.
My physical strength is my strength. But personally, I'm disappointed that I can't play more delicately.
I'm a little weak at connecting fast-time passes, so I'm trying to be cautious to give a non-stop pass before catching the ball during a practice game.
When the game is not going well, I change with another player so I can reset my mindset. Then I calmly watch the flow of the game from the outside, I think about what I should do when I will join in the next game.
I don't have other physical weaknesses in particular, but I often go to the bathroom before the game, because I always feel a bit nervous.
I wore the knee sleeves and then I practiced. I liked the feeling that the taping was wrapped tightly around the knee.
After the game, I sweated a lot and washed it right away, but the taping was still sticky and the fabric itself did not stretch, so I am satisfied.

When I was in the fifth grade of elementary school, my father watched the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and I started thinking of playing baseball.
At that time, the game between Korea and Venezuela was on, and I wanted to be a baseball player for the first time.
First of all, I run fast. I thought the outfield was a position where I could make effective use of my strengths in baseball, so I decided to become an outfielder instead of an infielder.
The coach also recommended me to be an outfielder, so I think I was able to decide without any hesitation.
Despite his small build, Mookie Betts is regarded as the best player in the Major Leagues, hitting 30 home runs and stealing 30 bases.
He is also a player who broke my prejudice that a small player couldn't hit far. In fact, I chose him as my role model because he is a player of similar size and position to me, and I followed his back number 50 times.
Geelong Korea was founded in the Australian professional baseball league on May 18th, 2018.
It is a good opportunity for young prospects to gain practical experience because there are many famous players playing in Triple-A, even if not in the Australian Major League.
After being discharged from the army last year and moving up to the first division, I was the first starter and made my first hit. I won against KT WIZ and I think that day was the most memorable.
First of all, my goal is to become a franchise player of a team, and then become an FA player.
I want to grow into a representative outfielder. I look forward to the day when I can play for my country.
Fortunately, I didn't have any major injuries while exercising but my back was a bit uncomfortable. By the way, I got much better after wearing a Wavewear compression top.
I tend to play with hesitation but the tape builds into my shoulders and my waist feels like it holds my muscles tightly, so I'm playing with confidence. After training and playing games, my back often throbbed but that disappeared, so I was able to play more freely.
L1 leggings also hold the lower body, so it gives more elasticity to movement. Originally, I tried to warm up before the game, but I feel like I'm warming up naturally when I wear leggings, so I'm really satisfied.
Teamwork is better than any other team.
It appears that the players have found harmony, and I believe that the coach and the staff have come together with one mind to win.
During my childhood, I participated in a soccer hobby class and worked, but I decided to become a soccer player after winning a small competition.
I started learning officially in the 4th grade of elementary school.
In my debut match this year, I played against the Sihueng Citizens Football team in the FA Cup.
I think I'm weak physically, so I tend to do a lot of weight training other than soccer. When I meet my friends, I usually play basketball, bowling, and billiards.
And as a striker, there are many situations where I have to put on a sprint. As a result, I often injure my hamstrings and the muscles behind my calves. So there are times when I tape the hamstring and the adductor muscle.
I wore sleeves with tape on my calves for the first time, and it definitely felt like it help my calves well when I ran. It was fascinating that my calf muscles didn't shake.
The unfortunate thing was that the long tights were very hot, maybe because of the hot weather. But except during the summer, I think I will wear it often.
I pay a lot of attention to the impact when I shoot.
The trajectory and power of the ball depends on how strong you are at the moment the ball hits. Therefore, I think it would be wise to focus on impact and shooting.
Strikers have excellent speed and use forward pressure to pressure the defense line, preventing the opponent's defense from building up.
Also, I think that his greatest strength is that he can counterattack at high speed even after participating in the defense.
I've been running fast since I was young, but the person in charge of the soccer team said that he looked at me and scouted me.
I started playing soccer officially when I was in the fourth grade at Guri Buyang Elementary School, and I have trained hard to become a player since then.
When I came to Asan FC in Chungcheongnam-do last year as a rental player, I accidentally scored my debut goal with my heel, which is the most memorable.
Besides soccer, I usually play jump rope or badminton.
But when I play soccer, I have to run fast and put on a sprint. Therefore, I feel a lot of pressure on the back of my thighs and my calves. So I was glad to see the Wavewear product because I usually put the kinesiology tape on the hamstring.
Each time I moved, I felt the sports tape stuck to my muscles and ensured pressure. I felt less tired because my calf swelled less than usual.
If there's one thing that's disappointing, I think it would be good to have summer tights made of cooler materials.
My advice when shooting is to look at your stepping foot, put your weight throughout your body, and kick the ball until it hits the ground.
If you try to get the correct shooting posture, the accuracy of the pass will also increase.

We're a street workout team in Cheongju, and Barcrows means iron bar crows.
In March 2015, Barcrows was founded and I am one of several members, including team members who filmed together as a team leader.
Many people are curious about the team's name. I tried to combine the team names into various words. I chose it because it looked cool, but it turned out that the crow was the most intelligent bird. So I added a positive meaning flying freely over the bar.
The most common exercise is bare-body exercise. And I usually do street workouts at the iron bar.
And I'm doing Animal Flow, which is a movement that creates movement, following various movements of animals on the ground.
In Animal Flow, you move like an animal with your bare body.
People used to crawl when they were babies, right? In the beginning, natural movements such as four leg- legged devices become good functional exercises. For people these days who spend a lot of time sitting down, animal flow can restore lost body functions and minds.
As it uses only the body, it has the advantage of allowing you to exercise at any time, anywhere. In addition, since it changes movement back and forth while expressing movement in the head, it stimulates the vestibular organ and increases brain function.
There was a time when I had a muscle rupture while exercising with an iron bar, and I felt that there was a gap in my exercise. So I started Animal Flow to fill that gap.
It can be challenging at first, but when you feel the limits of your movements, you can adjust the intensity slowly. Therefore, it's challenging to tell exactly what the difficult moves are.
In order to do an animal flow, you need to follow the callout (instruction).
For instance, when a certain movement is given, you have to think about the movement and perform it. Your body, however, may not follow as well as you think, but dealing with it is fun. And personally, I enjoy doing the chin balance where I stand on my hands.
I tend to put a lot of pressure on my wrist when I do animal flow. But the Wavewear protector is light and thin overall, so it doesn't look like I'm wearing anything, but it's strong enough to hold the parts that I need.
In the case of the wrist, I felt that the pain was slightly reduced because it firmed held the renal muscle. And there was some kind of psychological stability. Usually, I was worried that I might get hurt while doing this move, but that worry decreased.
The comfortable pressure of the leggings was helpful, and wrist guards and knee guards also helped a lot.
However, when the wrist rotates 360 degrees, the Velcro part, which is a fastening device, touches the skin and tries to take it off slightly. So I think it would be good if that part was improved.
We are a non-mainstream team called Street Workout.
Exercise on the streets began spontaneously as a bare-body exercise that anyone could do, and now it's becoming a cultural phenomenon and a business model.
The Barcrows team was formed in 2015 and was created by a natural gathering of people who enjoyed sports. I joined the team in January 2019.
The official name is Calisthenics, and it can be called beauty gymnastics.
But the word beauty gymnastics may sound a little vague, so I'm just describing street workout as a street exercise, which is simply bare-body exercise.
And personally, I also do climbing exercises.
I started to change my exercise routine, but the more I do it, the more attractive it becomes.
Climbing is a complete battle with yourself. When I face a problem, I feel a sense of accomplishment in the process of solving it. I think I do it more because it's fun.
Climbing is a full-body exercise, so you have to use your arms and feet at the same time. It's especially difficult to use your feet well.
There are a lot of problematic holds. When your skills improve, your finger strength becomes more crucial, and your fingers have a lot of ligament injuries, so you have to be careful about controlling your movements.
Of course, there are a lot of fun moves. I usually do bare-body exercises, so training such as hanging boards is more fun. And bouldering climbing, which is often done, is easy to access and fun because the problem is short. But it's only been a year since I started climbing, so I don't think I can pick a move that I'm confident.
During climbing, there are numerous potential injury risks that target areas such as the elbow, fingers, wrist, and shoulder.
I utilized various Wavewear products including arm sleeves, compression T-shirts, wrist guards, and elbow pads during my climbing session. I was pleasantly surprised by their secure fit and effectiveness in holding everything in place.
In particular, when comparing the experience of wearing just one arm sleeve versus wearing both, I noticed a significant reduction in the impact on my forearm muscles. It provided much-needed support and alleviated the severity of the bumps and knocks.
And in climbing, a round hold is called a sloper hold. The pinch movement that holds it causes a lot of strain on the wrist. However, with the inclusion of a wrist protector, I could feel a noticeable difference in injury prevention.
If I have to pick up just one, I think I would choose an arm sleeve product. Since I use the forearm muscle a lot, I like it because it feels like I'm holding it when climbing. I'm very satisfied with its functionality.
I actually got into exercising when I was in the 2nd grade of middle school. I must admit, compared to other players, I was a bit late. It was my tall stature that caught the attention of my physical education teacher. He saw potential in me and recommended volleyball. Since then, I embarked on my journey as a player, constantly traveling between my hometown of Yeosu and the training ground in Mokpo.
After completing my college education, I had the opportunity to meet Coach Kim Ho-Chul at Hyundai Capital. That experience truly opened my eyes to the wonders of volleyball. Under his guidance, I delved into various tactics and skills, with my head and body. It was a transformative experience that allowed me to envision a future dedicated to volleyball.
When it comes to blocking in volleyball, there's something incredibly captivating about the instant impact of hitting your hand on the ball and swiftly falling to the ground. This led me to analyze the technique more deeply and refine my skills in that area. As my understanding of the game grew throughout my career, I began to notice the positive results that emerged from the synergistic effect between blocking and other aspects of my play. I must also credit my teammates, Jeon Kwang-In and Seo Jae-Doek, for their support, which played a significant role in my progress.
Additionally, the Mikasa ball played a crucial part in my development. Compared to other balls, the Mikasa ball possesses a strong repulsion, requiring extensive practice and interaction.
At a time when I was thinking about retirement, a good offer came and I always thought I wanted to try playing in a foreign country, so I decided to go to Japan without hesitation.
While Korea is currently transitioning towards a faster-paced style of volleyball, one of its notable strengths lies in its ability to deliver powerful hits from high positions. On the other hand, volleyball in Japan emphasizes a lower and quicker approach, placing a greater emphasis on finesse and precision. There are pros and cons to each other, so I believe it would be wise to combine them properly. Also, watching the training of the youth under the professional team in Japan, I thought it would be nice if in Korea could be possible to train volleyball without any pressure. Based on that determination, I founded a volleyball training center called Its Volley.
At Its Volley, our motto revolves around the enjoyment of volleyball. Our aim is to spark the interest of individuals of all ages, both men and women, in the sport of volleyball. Nowadays, it can be challenging to find accessible avenues for learning volleyball, even if one is interested. As a result, volleyball is often perceived as a difficult sport to approach. However, in reality, it is an easily learnable sport. That's why Its Volley strives to break down the barriers and make volleyball more accessible to everyone. We aspire to share the beauty of volleyball as a team sport with as many people as possible. I feel rewarded when I see young friends growing up through the medium of volleyball.
In the case of elite players, professional volleyball trainers teach tight parts such as posture correction through systematic analysis as well as professional skills.
Usually, when you train in a team, the individual is given about 15-20 minutes, so the current education system is not enough to foster the elite. Therefore, in its Volley, we are determined of creating a better environment for both elite athletes and ordinary students who want to learn physical education.
The T20 compression top is truly impressive. Unlike many other compression products that made me uncomfortable with a rolling sensation every time I moved during the game, Wavewear's T20 had a different experience. Thanks to the adhesive silicone embedded within the fabric, it securely hugged my back, eliminating any discomfort. In fact, the more I sweated, the better the adhesion became, which was simply amazing. The strategic taping on the shoulder and back of the T20 had a noticeable positive impact on my upper body.
The forearm protector F1 and the knee protector K2 provided proper pressure and support to the joint areas of my forearm and knee. As a result, I felt more confident in performing a range of movements.
I plan to obtain a certificate of overseas leadership within the next year.
And before that, I hope that the public's interest in Korean volleyball and other sports remains as it is now. By visiting and supporting professional games, volleyball fans can help develop the sport more. I therefore hope there will be a game in which both professionals and amateurs (all-time sports) are together, like the FA Cup in soccer.
Also, I was impressed by the Korean mens volleyball team's game at the 2022 Volleyball Challenger Cup (VCC). Nevertheless, a successful generation change should be made by encouraging young players to experience various international games rather than staying with their current skills. The Paris Olympics next year is significant, but I hope that the foundation for volleyball development from a long-term perspective will be laid. I also want to study and try various ways to develop Korean volleyball and change the overall perception of volleyball.
I grew up in the countryside when I was young. I came across baseball for the first time in my neighborhood. Since then, I've been into baseball. Actually, I didn't choose the catcher role at first.
My school coach recommended me to be a catcher. Of course, I've experienced all the other positions.
When I was a student, I played all roles: pitcher, infielder, and outfielder. Among them, I think I'm more capable in the catcher role.
I think I feel more nervous when I'm defending. The batter gets points because of me.
Other players can help. But the defense is entirely up to me.
It is often directly related to defeat. I keep teaching myself to play better defense as a catcher.
The crucial thing is that the game plays out exactly as you want. But most of the time it doesn't.
It's imperative to stop the flow of stolen bases, the same holds true for catching a foul fly ball.
Above all, I feel really happy when I get along with the pitcher. The game works well because we're excited about each other.
My legs were shaking when I debuted. My body didn't listen to me.
Now I can think and move accordingly to the situation. I really didn't know anything back then. I can recognize my potential because I am a professional now.
At first, I wondered if what I'd been doing was baseball. That's what I thought. I felt like a fool.
Catching, blocking, stealing, etc.
As a catcher, I keep practicing the basics. You have to keep paying attention and learn to get effective results in the field.
I still have a long way to go. I'm not good enough.
First of all, I want to be recognized as a catcher and a player on the team. If I have a chance, I'll try on the national team uniform.
Of course, it depends on the situation and luck. It's a matter of how skilled I am. I want to achieve as many things as I can as a player.
I liked Calf Compression Sleeves C2. They are comfortable to wear because they support your muscles. Since I repeatedly squat and stand up, my lower body is usually tired.
Thanks to Wavewear, I'm getting a lot of help.
When I was young, my brothers were so mischievous that my parents wanted me to be calm. Despite this, I followed my cousin's path, who was playing baseball. The best finishing pitcher in Korea, Oh Seung-Hwan, served as his role model in developing his pitching form.
First of all, it is a team that I have liked since high school and I am happy to train with the seniors I saw on TV. At first, there was a lot of pressure, but since I gradually got used to it, I have been training and playing with a happy heart.
No matter what happens on the mound, my strength is to pitch confidently.
When I was in school, the zone was so spacious that I could put it anywhere I liked. When I entered the professional world, it was more important to throw it perfectly, regardless of control. As a result, I put it in the course I want without giving it much thought. I was so disappointed that I didn't do well before my first professional debut.
So based on that resolution, I want to continue using my strengths and play a successful game.
Because we expected to meet one day, we joked with each other about who is going to win.
(Park Jung Hyun, Park Young Hyun's older brother, is a Hanwha Eagles infielder and right-handed hitter, and KT recorded a 4:0 victory over Hanwha in the game on 5/27)
As I met him on the mount, I couldn't see anything and just thought, "I should catch him." I threw a breaking ball on the first pitch since I decided to throw both the fastballs that followed, but it was good to strike out at a time when it was difficult. My brother was upset, so I teased him that the result was a strikeout.
However, I think it was a special experience that I couldn't easily have as a player.
I hurt my shoulder in my second year of high school. I was diagnosed with SLAP (shoulder joint and net rupture) stage 2 and devoted myself to rehabilitation for 2 months. After that, I gradually began using ITP (step-by-step pitching program) and am now completely healed.
I don't like tights because I feel uncomfortable. However, I felt the need to wear it as a pitcher, and Wavewear's leggings are comfortable because they are flexible. And thanks to the tape on my knees and calves, I noticed that my lower body was lighter than usual whenever I raised my legs. My pitching form has become much more flexible, so I'm wearing it under my pants not only during training but also during games.
Since it's still my first year, I'm working hard to make my current efforts the foundation for the future rather than a clear goal.
My colleagues and seniors are so talented, so I'm trying to learn a lot from people around me, including pitching form. And like Oh Seeing-Hwan, who is my role model, I want to be a skilled pitcher who can throw fastballs that overwhelm batters with unwavering composure on the mound.
My father was a college baseball player. I think that's why my family wanted to continue my father's dream. Of course, I like baseball too.
Also, he helped me a lot. It was fun throwing a ball when I was young. That's how I naturally became a pitcher.
Of course, I experienced other positions when I was a student. Even when I watched professional players' games on TV, I couldn't see the batter.
My journey in sports began during my college years when I specialized in soccer. After graduating, I became motivated to improve my physique, aspiring to look great in jeans and white t-shirts. As I witnessed the positive changes in my appearance, my confidence soared, prompting me to consider entering competitions. To my surprise, I won the Grand Prix in my very first competition, solidifying my commitment to continue this path.
The overwhelming emotions I experienced on that stage, inspire me to consistently participate in competitions and maintain a successful track record. Presently, I am actively involved as a professional player and also operate a personal PT shop called "Amazym."
The notion of having a "good body" doesn't have a definitive answer. However, what truly matters is the confidence to embrace your own presence. I believe that "presence" is not an inherent quality but something that can be cultivated. Therefore, we actively support all our members in building internal confidence and achieving a healthy external appearance.
In particular, we focus on a lean mass-up exercise approach that strengthens the shoulders, instills body confidence, and promotes muscle growth while minimizing fat gain. This method allows for remarkable before-and-after transformations.
Whenever I witness ordinary members, who may not be professional athletes, enjoying sports and taking part in competitions, I feel an immense sense of pride.
I experienced knee pain when I pushed my range of motion while performing squats. Once I started wearing the L20, I noticed a significant reduction in pain, leading to an improvement in my athletic performance. In particular, I was very pleased with my ability to complete the routine faster when I did lower-body exercises.
Wearing the product, I was able to feel its effects while using various sports equipment. So it became an item that I always use for lower body exercises. Compared to other compression tights, I am less tired after exercising.
Drawing from my extensive experience in competitions and my knowledge gained through fitness-related events and modeling endeavors, my aspiration is to nurture a team of exceptional individuals known as the 'Circlass' crew. My goal is to create an outstanding competition platform alongside individuals who have faith in me and share a common vision.
Furthermore, I am committed to maintaining my dedication to being on stage while prioritizing the well-being of my body. As "Seo Yeong Seok," my ultimate ambition is to be acknowledged as a top-tier sports model.

I often played baseball in my neighborhood when I was young. There were many times when I played baseball on a basketball court because I didn't have the right space.
One day, an unknown member came to me and asked why I was playing baseball on a basketball court. He wanted to play, so we said yes. But I lost the game. That made me really angry.
I told my father that I would play baseball that day. I didn't want to lose anymore and that's how it started.
My mindset has changed a lot.
When I was a student, I was busy following what the coach told me. But once I became a professional, I started to think for myself. I knew my status before graduation.
There's no fixed period for professionals. Even if you learn one thing, you should strive to succeed.
Actually, I think about my family a lot because I became a professional and stayed in the dorm, so I don't see them very much.
I think the most significant thing is personality. I heard this a lot when I first started playing baseball. It's something that I really agree with.
Of course, it's imperative to be a competent player but I think trying to be a positive person is the way to become a successful player.
It needs to be based on personality to how effective performances in relationships and training within the team. Additionally, it can be helpful in the game.
I played for Masan High School in Janggi of the association when I was a sophomore in high school.
I cried a lot after losing the game. I couldn't say that we lost because of me but if I had done better, the results might have changed.
I felt sorry for the other players. As a third grader, I decided not to feel sorry for myself.
I think I've changed a lot since then.
The L20 holds the knee well, so the burden on the joints is reduced. It has a good fit, and there are no restrictions on movement.
Shorts are really comfortable, so it takes a lot of work. Thanks to Wavewear, I get a lot of help when I work out.
I want to be a competent pitcher with all control over the ball, so I can throw it wherever I want.
You can increase the speed of the ball if you complement your physical abilities but command is not easy. I want to keep trying to throw a sophisticated ball.
I don't want to remain as a brilliant player. I believe that if you train hard, you can become a player who plays for a long time.

My older sister played tennis, and when I saw her win a competition, I decided that I wanted to play tennis too.
I started off gently at the tennis court where my father's acquaintance played. However, gradually my love for tennis grow, and when I joined the school tennis club, I began to pursue my dream.
I think the biggest attraction of tennis is that I get results as much as I try hard. In particular, it is even more attractive because there is a chance to reverse the results at any time. This is even when you are lagging behind in terms of score. Sometimes there is pressure, but every time I do that, I try to fight hard.
I have played tennis since I was young. I am still majoring in tennis at the Korea National University of Physical Education. Therefore, I have been exercising for a long time. In fact, I was young in high school and my opponent was a bit older, so I felt less pressure to lose.
It can be better in the future. I have a strong positive mindset, but now I'm competing with my peers, so I feel pressured to do better than before.
When you think of tennis, you usually think of wrist or ankle pain. However, in fact, it's a lot of rotation exercise on the body, so the waist that supports the rotation usually is very fatigued.
So, I go to the center separately, and help me out with sports necessary for tennis such as weight training, basic physical strength, and cardio.
I usually play singles, but I also play doubles.
When you play alone, you have to cover all by yourself, so skills and tactics are absolutely critical and you have to understand the opponent's style well.
But in doubles, two people form a team. Therefore, teamwork is more vital than ever. We tend to prepare according to the characteristics of the game because we have different pros and cons.
The most memorable moment of my tennis career was at the National Sports Festival last year.
The team competition consists of 4 singles and 1 doubles match. Our team and the opposing team decide who will play first, and the team that scores 3 points first wins the 3rd game out of 5 games.
That's when we won the team competition and it's the happiest memory I've ever had while exercising.
Actually, I had surgery right before my back disc burst. I'm currently recovering at a rehabilitation center.
So the padded tank top N10 was especially helpful. It is taped on the waist, so it feels good to hold the back and back muscles when you move. It was better because it was not too tight and comfortable. And the wrist protector definitely supports the joints, so I think you'll get a lot of help when you exercise.
I've never regretted choosing the path of tennis. So I want to do it as much as I can. First of all, my goal is to win first place among university teams. I want to be ranked number one in college with the business team.
Compared to the business team and the university team, the business team plays foreign games, so it's definitely different because they can try everything they haven't done in Korea. Foreign players have superior power and know everything about technology and tactics. Therefore, I think they will learn a lot from that. Therefore, I want to join the business team after I graduate from college and develop my sense of practice.
Currently, I'm going to undergo rehabilitation. So I hope I can play as I want next season.
Playing baseball is the same as in high school but learning is much more organized and in-depth. There are a lot of coaches as well as weight training, treatment, and technology. So I like it because there are many ways to communicate and there are many channels to learn.
Above all, I feel more responsible than before. Now I have to be able to absorb the knowledge and pull them off because baseball has become my job.
If they ask too much, I'll be embarrassed. There's a limit to what I can do for them. There will be times when fans are upset, but saying no is the right thing to do.
I like the sleeveless R10 and leggings L20.
Leggings are efficient at holding muscles, so you can exercise stably.
There have been many cases where I used kinesiology tape before games but it was comfortable and not practical as Wavewear.
My goal is to do it consistently and doesn't get sick. You can play baseball if you don't get sick. I think I should focus on preventing injuries and exercising.
I don't have a suitable physique for a pitcher. I think I need the stamina to take that into account. Also, I want to make sure that I feel stable when I play.
I was influenced a lot because my father liked baseball. He couldn't play because of financial difficulties. Later, he played baseball as a member of society.
I fell in love with baseball when I saw my father playing it when I was young. I have to thank him because he trusted me and supported me a lot.
While I was a student, I tried out other positions but decided that being a pitcher was more likely than being a fielder. I started pitching in earnest when I was in high school.
I think instantaneous explosive power is my strength. I'm confident with fastballs or breaking balls but the record is not consistent when throwing the ball. The deviation is too wide that it needs to be supplemented. I think it's a mental problem. The speed is pretty reasonable.
Nevertheless, I believe I am gaining strength since I want to provide a better and stronger ball.
The coach once asked me and two other players.
"Who's more confident?"
I wasn't confident because I couldn't see the positive side of myself.
But on the way to the stadium, the coach said I was the starter. He told me to throw confidently and not think of negative things because I have a reliable ball. The game turned out really well.
I think I've grown up since then and I'm really grateful to the coach.
The pitcher has to be stable. So I practice pitching form with a towel every day after training to maintain balance.
If you throw the ball, it'll strain your arm. On days when I throw a lot of balls, I keep practicing until my arm gives out.
More than anything, I pay the most attention to my mental aspects. My pitching coach and team leader have helped me a lot.
I had a chronic knee problem. There's nothing wrong with CT.
So I used a knee support similar to Wavewear in high school. But it was a bummer that it only held my knees.
Leggings L1 from Wavewear had a good feeling of tightness, not only does it shake the knee, but it also holds the leg as a whole. So it feels stable. I really like them, so I always wear them at every match.
Sometimes, I get asked when I think I can make it to the first division.
I say this every time I have an interview. I want to train hard in the second division and play in the first division next year.
For those who believe in me and say that there is a possibility, I'm working hard for them.
Jim Gym Compression Leggings L1

It could be due to being in the second division, but it's important for the head coach and coach to genuinely consider the players' opinions. Personally, I appreciate this kind of environment.
Also, I have a strong connection to Suwon as I was born and raised here, which naturally led me to support my hometown team. Additionally, I became a fan at a young age when I got involved with the KT Foundation.
I had an injured elbow that required surgery, and the hospital informed me that the operation was inevitable. Therefore, during my third year of middle school, I underwent surgery after the season ended. I went through a rehabilitation process until my first year of high school. I made preparations in advance so that I could resume playing during my second year of high school. Fortunately, I have fully recovered after the surgery.
Following the operation, I realized the importance of strengthening exercises to prevent future injuries. As a result, I consistently prioritize training to improve my physical condition. Additionally, I make sure to thoroughly warm up before each game to ensure I am adequately prepared.
I used to enjoy playing baseball in high school, but I find it even more enjoyable now. During my school days, I often felt anxious because I had to perform well in baseball. However, my coach would motivate me to pursue my interests, even if my throwing skills weren't the best. The coach would encourage me to do what I wanted, even if I couldn't throw well.
As I transitioned into becoming a professional player, I developed the ability to independently identify areas for improvement and implement my own training routines. While I was a student, I followed the program, but now I understand what I'm missing.
I remember the World Little Baseball World Series Intermedia Competition.
The players I competed against, both from my own team and from other countries, were incredibly diverse. I was in my first year of middle school at the time, and our team's average height was around 165 cm. However, it was fascinating to encounter players from other nations who stood over 185 cm tall.
It was fun to see the pitching form and movements. It was fun to hit that kind of ball.
I use L20 and T20 for my weight training sessions, and I find the tape inside to be quite effective for my muscles. The tape helps provide stability and support, which greatly enhances the overall effectiveness of my workouts.
Specifically, the T20 tape has been particularly enjoyable for me. In the past, I used to feel nervous during weight training, especially when it came to my shoulder area.
I am actively working on improving my mindset, and a key part of that is exerting control over my thoughts before stepping onto the pitching mound. I make a conscious effort to create a positive mental state in order to enhance the likelihood of achieving favorable results.
Additionally, I have set a goal for myself this year to participate in as many games as possible.
There are three types of fencing: épée, foil, and sabre. Among them, I play sabre. Saber uses a metal jacket. Unlike other sports, you can attack by stabbing as well as cutting.
Instead, for foil, except for the head and arms, the upper body is the effective hitting surface.By stabbing, you earn points with the point on the tip of the knife.
In the end, Épée can attack the whole body.
I like sports when I was in middle school, so I tried to join the track and field club but the track and field team disappeared.
Then, when my physical education teacher left on a business trip, another teacher came as a substitute.
He was the school's fencing coach. He suddenly picked up heavy things and asked me to do a few things while running. Then he offered to fence.
Fencing is a lower-body exercise. So I do a lot of lower body-centered exercises like squats. The preparation position is called "Angarde".
I do a lot of sit-down and stand-up moves in that posture. Your thighs should always be in shape because there are a lot of lower body movements.
I won a gold medal in the team event at the World Youth Championships this year. At first, I met a Polish player, followed by Turkey and Russia.
Russia is such a fencing power that I thought I wouldn't be able to win. I tried to reduce the burden by saying it was okay if I don't play well. Even if I didn't do well, I wanted to do better next time.
There was one junior, so I told my junior that it was okay. But I was under a lot of pressure. I remember saying that it's okay to lose, so do what you want to do with confidence.
When I was in middle and high school, training and competition were just fun.
When we gave our opinions, the teacher listened to us a lot. I didn't have a senior in middle and high school. The teacher picked four long-reaching students and raised them exactly the same. So there was no sense of seniority. As a result, we tend to create an atmosphere conducive to working out.
When I go to college, I tend to try to match the professor's style.
At first, I had a hard time because I couldn't adapt to the systematic training and the clear relationship between seniors and juniors.
I am committed to working hard on everything.
I think the atmosphere is very significant for exercise. You don't want to work out every day.
However, if there's a game, even if you're tired, you have to stay motivated, but if that doesn't work, it's challenging. So I used to shout out loud.
It's important to enjoy time with your friends. I feel like I want to rest because I'm having a hard time these days. It's difficult to get more exercise after coming to college. But if I take a break at times like this, I might want to rest endlessly.
I like leggings Y20 and elbow sleeves E2.
Leggings hold your calves and thighs. Leggings that are usually tight feel like they have a wristband added to them.
I don't think I'm burdened or worried about injuries when I work out. The elbow sleeves are really strong.
My goal is to prepare well and enter the athlete's village next year.
To do that, I need to prepare well for next year.
My goal is to play for the national team under the age of 23 and 25.
The national standing army is a place I've been to a lot, but I haven't been able to enter the village yet, so I'm trying to do so quickly.
Eventually, I want to make it to the national team and make it to the Olympics.
Our team has a lot of young players. At the same time, there are many seniors, so it's harmonious. It's helpful to create synergy between each other.
I've been practicing very seriously, and I'm slowly moving forward. Rookies or young players try to learn a lot of helpful habits, routines, and know-how from seniors.
I think what I gained was the experience acquired from playing baseball.
I was able to get a lot of things inside and outside of baseball but I'm sorry that I didn't show a good performance as the team or fans expected.
There may be a visible record, but as a player, you don't meet the standards of what you expect from yourself. You have to keep trying.
I think the most significant aspect is mental strength or concentration.
Baseball starts when a pitcher throws the ball. In a crisis situation, it's imperative to maintain the mentality of throwing the ball as usual or hopefully better.
In other words, it's the courage to throw without being nervous.
Throwing the ball is a pitcher's role, but there are times when it's difficult.
It's a pleasure to have fun when you throw a ball. That's what it is. But I don't feel well when I feel tired. It's confusing. I wonder if it's a slump.
I think I can say it precisely because I always wear it.
K2 doesn't feel tight when you run, but it's really comfortable because it naturally holds it, and it appears that the tape is holding it well.
Elbow protector E2 is also effective. I wear it when I feel my elbows are stiff during weight training. I like the comfort of wearing Wavewear.
Even if I keep wearing it, it feels like I'm not wearing it. I don't feel too much pressure, but the silicon inside holds really well.
By increasing the power of my ball, I want to give people a feeling of certainty.
You have to keep your balance. To be consistent in every game, and to do that, I'm not only throwing the ball, but I'm also training with weights and speed.
Futsal is an exercise where 5 people are a team including the goalkeeper.
It's very different from soccer except for the footing rule. There's a difference in basic movements and rules. There are a lot of tactics. For example, there is a kick-in similar to soccer's drawing. You don't throw it with your hands.
In futsal, there's a time limit, so you have to be quick with your brain. Above all, personal skills are critical because you play in a small space. It doesn't matter if it's winter because it's not outdoors but on an indoor mat.
The basics are the most significant. There are many people who think futsal is mini soccer. But futsal is very different. It's important to learn the movement of futsal. For example, soccer usually touches the ball from the inside. Futsal is done with the soles of your feet. Also, soccer player often stays still, after passing the ball.
Instead, in futsal is at a disadvantage if you stay still. You have to keep moving after passing. That way, our team won't lose the ball. It's similar to basketball. The only difference is that in one you are using your hands and in the other the feet. There are also many things that are similar to basketball tactics like isolation (1:1 mark).
Our team was founded last year. I entered the second division for the first time.
It was a difficult situation because there were only three former professional futsal players on the team. Before the season, our goal was to win one game. But we lost the first four of our 10 games. The team members gathered and regained their minds and won five consecutive games.
If you win the last game by two points, you will be the runner-up. But in the previous game, my ankle was severely swollen like an elephant's foot due to an injury. I put on an ice pack at home and took painkillers. I taped before the game, but fortunately, I won the game by two points and finished second. I think I was lucky.
After losing four games in a row, the team members were upset and disappointed. The game wasn't successful despite our training. I think that was the memorable moment: when we got together and made up our minds.
I was lucky to be captain last year.
My position requires me to give a lot of instructions to the team members. I think that's why I became the captain, but it was really burdensome, as I'm the youngest on the team. We don't have many FIXO members on our team. Usually, futsal players change often, but I couldn't because there were not many replacements. I think I was able to win an award because I ran a lot.
There is a site where individuals can rent stadiums. But when I am there, there are cases where six people play futsal. Also, when you kick in futsal, height doesn't matter.
However, there are some people who say that you have to kick it below your knees. When that happened, I want the rules to be known properly. I think people will be able to enjoy futsal more.
Actually, it's professional futsal, but the club doesn't pay for it. All but one club. Even if you have a sponsor, you can get it as a gift. Since there is no salary system, I have a separate job. There are many people I know who teach youth or school teachers. On top of that, you work in various fields. I'm still a student, but I'm taking a break from school.
The sleeveless R10 was the most impressive, and the T20 and knee pads K2 were also good.
Actually, I have a probe with my back. But I really liked the R10 because the waist-taping part didn't fall off and it was fixed well. When I first wore it and took it off after exercising, there was a mark on my waist. It means that it's getting better gradually. It was cool and enjoyable.
My knees are not doing well either. Regular taping often falls off when you sweat. But K2 is taped with inner silicone. It was very comfortable because it didn't fall off and saved time and effort.
The league opens again in November.
In the short term, Mokpo is in first place. To do that, I have to play a significant role in my position. I don't think I'm doing well yet.
I want to keep trying and playing better on defense. I experienced a lot of ups and downs. There's nothing wrong with the way the game was played that day..
But there are days when my condition is good but I don't feel well. I want to be a stable player by reducing those ups and downs.
Since I starred playing, I have wanted to be a member of the national team. It's just a goal for now.
I've been told many times that I'm talented at baseball in my neighborhood.
When I got older, I told my parents and started. At that time, my father was playing baseball as a member of society, so he gladly supported me. At first, I wanted to be a pitcher, but I couldn't. The high school coach was in charge of the catcher. But it was fun to be a catcher.
I think the director gave me the right opinion. Because of him, I am now a catcher.
The more I play baseball, the more difficult it is. But I like the sense of satisfaction after I accomplish something difficult. The more you do it, the more competitive you get. It's not fun if it's too easy.
While playing baseball, I was able to do things that I thought were difficult before. At first, I got used to it after practicing every day. So I realized that I could do anything.
I'm learning life thanks to baseball.
When I first joined the program, I wasn't confident because my nomination ranking was low. But since I've been doing it consistently, I've been able to play in the first division.
That's when I gained confidence and I thought I could do it. What's unfortunate is that usually, you have more capability than you think. I usually thought of bad results in advance and worried about what if I didn't do well. It's much better now, but I still have a lot of worries.
It's not that I'm not nervous, but I think a lot less about trivial things.
In my second year of high school, I was the main catcher. At that time, other teams considered our school the weakest. But we did very well that year. I thought we could beat any team.
In fact, we advanced to the semifinals or higher in all competitions that year and finished second once. Since then, I think mental strength is the most significant thing in baseball.
I felt physical limitations when I was a rookie. I leave at 7:30 for training every morning. We had betting in the morning and defensive training in the afternoon. I ate dinner and practiced until 11 pm, even if training ended at 6 pm.
I just graduated from high school, so it was difficult to keep up with training. I've been practicing betting all day, and my hands are worn out after a day. The same training was repeated every day. But I got used to it more I kept doing it.
My skills improved a lot at that time. Actually, I wasn't very interested in high school, but I thought I could do it.
I liked it because it didn't smell even if I sweated a lot. Unlike other clothes that smell even after a few washings, Wavewear appears to be as new as ever.
Above all, I liked the L20 leggings. Silicone is on the knees and thighs, and it feels really comfortable. I still use it for training and games.
I am paying attention to defense, such as blocking. Above all, I practice by trying to catch the glow of the game well. It's helpful to practice betting. I have a lot of strength, but I get a lot of ground balls. So I've been practicing a lot to fly the ball.
I want to train steadily and become the team's main catcher. You never know when the opportunity will come. I'm training hard for that time.
