What if I could wear
kinesiology tape as clothing?
- It would be so much easier!
My first experience with kinesiology tape was because of my back pain. Although it was effective, but it wasn't easy to use. You need to learn how to use it correctly and I couId not reach my back on my own and it was a concerning with all the waste tape would produce.
That's when I came up with the first idea for Wavewear : "What if I could wear Kinesiology tape as clothing?"

I thought it would be easy to apply adhesive silicone products already on the market to fabrics, but it was very different from what I had thought. These silicones originally had no elasticity, so they would often fall off the fabric even if they were attached to it. After much patience, I was able to develop silicone BWAS, which has elasticity, sticks well to fabrics, and returns to its adhesiveness when washed.

Wavewear started with knee braces and has since expanded to include a variety of sleeve supports, leggings, and athleisure gym wear.
