Please introduce yourself.
"I am Choi Jae-hyoung, a sport climber. I mainly compete in the bouldering discipline. Bouldering is a sport where you solve physical puzzles on short, difficult routes without a rope. It requires a high level of strength, flexibility, and problem-solving skills."
What is the most attractive part of climbing to you?
"The sense of accomplishment when you reach the top of a route that seemed impossible is incredible. Every route is a new challenge, and you have to use your whole body and mind to figure it out. It's a sport that constantly pushes your limits."
Climbing can be hard on the body. How do you manage your condition?
"Injury prevention is crucial in climbing because of the intense strain on fingers, wrists, and elbows. I spend a lot of time on warming up and recovery. Using proper supportive gear has been a game-changer for my training consistency and safety."
Which movements are the most difficult or interesting for you?
"Climbing movements are very dynamic. The process of finding the right sequence and balancing your center of gravity while hanging on tiny holds is both the most difficult and the most interesting part. It's like a physical chess game where your body is the piece."
How was your experience wearing WaveWear?
"I was surprised by how much the taping technology actually supports the muscles without restricting movement. In climbing, you need maximum range of motion, and WaveWear provides that while still giving you the stability of traditional taping. It feels like a second skin that makes you stronger."
Which WaveWear products would you recommend to fellow climbers?
Wavewear wholeheartedly cheers for Choi Jae-hyoung’s inspiring journey.
