Our story

Finding Solutions to Everyday Problems

Nancy Cho, the founder of WaveWear and an avid runner, had struggled with back pain for a long time. Through many trials of kinesiology tape and physical therapy, there was no practical long-term solution, and that is what sparked her idea for WaveWear. After launching our first product in 2018, WaveWear has offered a reusable, long-term alternative to single-use kinesiology tape.

Based in South Korea, the 20-person team at WaveWear ensures precision and excellence in the creation of our products. We have grown from a two-person team and are looking to keep expanding. Reaching a greater audience and helping more people move their best is what drives our motivation and growth every day.

WaveWear started with knee braces and has since expanded to sleeve supports, leggings, and athleisure gym wear.

After extensive research and development, we created and tested products using adhesive silicone specially designed for fabric.
