Sizing compression apparel can be tricky. If yours isn't right, you have 30 days from delivery to exchange for a different size, swap for store credit, or return for a refund.

Your three options

Within 30 days of delivery, choose the path that fits your situation:

1. Free Exchange — No charge
Same product in a different size or color. We ship the replacement at no cost to you. (Most chosen)

2. Store Credit — Full amount, valid for 24 months
Receive your full purchase amount as store credit, valid on any WaveWear product.

3. Cash Refund — $15 processing fee
Refund to your original payment method, less a $15 processing fee.

Want a different product? Free Exchange is for the same product in a different size or color only. To swap for a different product, choose Store Credit — you'll receive your full purchase amount as credit and can place a new order at no extra processing cost.

Trying on for size

Remove the plastic packaging and try the item on inside-out (taping facing outward, not touching your skin). The plastic affects how the compression fabric stretches — making the fit assessment inaccurate.

A light layer of dust or minor surface marks from a brief try-on falls within the realm of acceptable condition. Items become ineligible only once worn during workouts, worn with the taping against skin, washed, heavily soiled, or damaged.

Eligibility

To be eligible for return or exchange:

  • Within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Tried on for size only — not worn during workouts or with the taping against skin
  • Unwashed
  • Original tags attached
  • Free from heavy stains, odors, damage, or alteration

Wear instructions

Once you've confirmed your size, wear your WaveWear normally — with the taping in direct contact with your skin (different from the inside-out fit check). Before your first wear:

  • Moisturize your skin before wearing
  • Keep your first wear to 1 hour — adhesion is strongest at the start
  • After that, gradually build up to a maximum of 5 hours per session
  • Discontinue use if you experience persistent irritation
  • Avoid wearing on wounds or inflamed skin
  • If you have any health concerns, check with your doctor before use

Items returned due to skin reactions when these wear instructions were not followed are not eligible for refund or exchange.

Not eligible

  • Items beyond the 30-day window
  • Items showing signs of workout use or extended wear
  • Items returned due to skin reactions when wear instructions were not followed
  • Final sale items and items marked "non-returnable" at purchase
  • ElecSil™ products (see below)
  • Items with visible damage caused by misuse or alteration
  • Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., underwear) once opened
  • Promotional gifts (when keeping the qualifying purchase)

ElecSil™ Products — Final Sale

ElecSil™ conductive e-textile products are final sale. Due to the specialized nature of these materials, all ElecSil™ purchases are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

The only exception is manufacturing defects or shipping errors confirmed by our team. For ElecSil™ defects or shipping issues, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and order details.

Defective or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we'll make it right at no cost — full refund, replacement, or store credit, your choice.

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos.

Promotional orders

If your order included a promotional gift, the gift must be returned with the qualifying items to receive a full refund. If you keep the gift but return the qualifying items, your refund will be reduced by the gift's retail value.

Color and image disclaimer

We make every effort to display product colors accurately, but actual colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings and photographic lighting. Color variation alone is not eligible for a free exchange — you may still return for store credit or cash refund within 30 days.

How to start a return or exchange

  1. Email us with the template. Click here to start your return or exchange — opens a pre-filled email. Just add your order details and reason.
  2. We'll respond within 1–2 business days. Our team will confirm your request and walk you through the next steps. Because we ship internationally, the process may differ depending on your situation — we'll work with you to find the simplest path.
  3. Processed within 5 business days. Once approved, we process your exchange, store credit, or refund right away.

Refund timeline

Once your request is approved, refunds are processed within 5 business days. Cash refunds typically appear on your statement within an additional 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Store credit is added to your WaveWear account immediately after processing.
