Nancy Cho, founder of WaveWear and an avid runner, struggled with chronic back pain that limited her active lifestyle. Frustrated by having to constantly buy and discard disposable kinesiology tape—a wasteful solution that hurt both her wallet and the environment—she envisioned something better: reusable compression activewear with built-in kinesiology taping support. In 2018, WaveWear launched its first reusable kinesiology compression product, providing athletes with a sustainable, long-term alternative to single-use tape.

Nancy Cho, The founder of WaveWear and an avid runner, had struggled with back pain for a long time. Through many trials of kinesiology tape and physical therapy, there was no practical long term solution, and that is what sparked her idea for WaveWear. After launching their first product in 2018, WaveWear has been able to provide a sustainable and long-term solution to every day pain.

We have grown all the way from a 2 person team, and are only looking to continue our expansion.
