HOW TO WEAR EASILY & CORRECTLY

Knee Sleeve K1/K2

Turn the sleeve inside out.

Hold the sleeve upside down
and put the smaller end in first.

Pull the sleeve up and turn it 
right side up, so that the bigger
end is now on your tight.

Place your sleeve so the knee cap is
in the center of the circle band,
and secure the sleeve by carefully 
pulling the sleeve.

Calf Sleeve C1/C2

Turn the sleeve inside out.

Hold the sleeve upside down,
and put the smaller end in first.

Adjust your sleeve so the WaveWear logo
is placed on the center of your shins, 
and pull your sleeves to smooth out wrinkles.

Stretch well the tape area and
makes sure there are no wrinkles.

Elbow Sleeve E2

Turn the sleeve inside out.

Hold the sleeve upside down,
and put the smaller end in first.

Place your sleeve so the elbow cap is in
the center of the circle band, and secure
the sleeve by carefully pulling the sleeve.

Stretch well the tape area and
makes sure there are no wrinkles.

Forearm Sleeve F1

Turn the sleeve inside out.

Hold the sleeve upside down,
and put the smaller end in first.

Place the V-SHape on the front side 
of your forearm for brachioradialis
muscle support. You may also adjust 
the sleeve to place the V-shape
on the back side of your forearm.

Stretch well the tape area and
makes sure there are no wrinkles.

Wrist Wrap

Hold the wrist wrap alongside
your wrist so that the thumb loop
aligns with your thumb.

Put your thumb through
the loop and lay the wrap across
the back of your hand.

Put your thumb through
the loop and lay the wrap across

Wrap until the wrist wrap is comfortably tight, then secure
it with the strap.

Leggings

Wear the leggings up to the calf.

Place the center of the knee
in the U-shaped position of the knee taping.

Once the knee taping is aligned,
match the rest of the calf taping
with the upper taping.

Make sure there are no wrinkles 
on the taping area.

Top and Shirt

Make sure there are no wrinkles on the taping area.

Putting clothes inside your pants makes a better back taping effect.

Why do I need to moisturize?

Dry skin may cause irritation as the silicone can cause friction (chafing) and depending on individual's sensitivity, this can cause discomfort to the skin. Moisturizing prevents that and also helps with better adhesion. We recommend using lotion or WaveWear's Anti-Chaf Sport Cream. 

Can I wear WaveWear all day long?

When first trying Wavewear, we recommend starting with an hour and then gradually increasing the usage time.
This is because the adhesive silicone taping initially feels awkward on the skin and requires some time to get used to.
It is the same as how it takes time to get comfortable in newly purchased shoes. Please take in-between breaks when wearing for longer than 5 hours to give your skin some time to rest. 

How do I know what size to get?

You should follow the size measurements regarding each product that are located under the description of the individual products.

Can I use WaveWear with a different sleeve or supporter?

If you would like more compression, yes you can. Wear WaveWear so the adhesive silicone is in direct contact with the skin and wear the other sleeve or supporter over WaveWear. However, this may cause chafing so please moisturize and check on your skin.

Can I use WaveWear with cooling spray?

Yes you can. We recommend you to spray cooling such as BioFreeze directly into your skin rather than on the silicone as it is the most effective. This is because it absorbs better but when spraying onto the silicone, the cooling spray will lay on the silicone which can interfere with the silicone adhesiveness.

Will the adhesive silicone peel off the fabric?

Silicone won't peel off. Silicone is stretchy, so it moves with the fabric as it stretches, making it non-reelable and non-rippable.

How does the built-in silicone tape design fit each individual?

The silicone tape design is based on kinesiology taping methods that target large muscle groups to fit most people.

Does wearing WaveWear limit my physical ability and muscle performance during exercise?

WaveWear is designed to enhance your movement and provide additional support, rather than restrict it. The product works in conjunction with your muscles, allowing you to perform exercises as you normally would. Therefore, it is ultimately your own physical ability and muscle performance that determines the effectiveness of your workout, with WaveWear serving as a helpful aid.

WASH & CARE

HOW TO WASH & DRY

We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water with neutral detergent. Focus on wiping off the dust on the silicone. 
To remove excess water do not twist but squeeze lightly.
Please air dry with the silicone facing inward and do not use a drying machine. 

1. Turn the sleeve inside out. 

2. Hand wash the silicone with neutral detergent in lukewarm water.

3. Turn the product right side out when drying. If not, dust will stick to the silicone. 

4. Once dry, wear again.

HOW TO CARE

When storing the product, place the silicone inward. This prevents dust from continuously accumulating on the adhesive silicone. 

Do not iron.
Do not machine dry

Can I machine wash WaveWear?

We recommend washing by hand. Machine washing is possible but it may affect longevity of the fabric. 
When machine washing, put the silicone on the inside, if not dust can accumulate on the silicone while washing. Wash with like colors. 

I have been using WaveWear for a few months, and feel the adhesion has weakened even after Washing.

What do I do?

In order to maintain adhesiveness, you can hand wash or machine wash as it will help remove dust and restore adhesiveness.
However, if you feel like washing isn’t helping as much, we recommend to have it dry cleaned.

The most effective way to wash it, is as soon as you can after using it so dust won’t be sitting on the adhesive silicone. How to know whether the adhesiveness is still intact is by feeling it lifting your skin when taking off Wavewear, rather than when touching the silicone by hand.

Can I cancel or edit my order?

Your order can be canceled or edited only if it has not yet been shipped. Before placing your order, please double check before you proceed.

What is your return & exchange policy?

You have the right to return your purchase until 14 days after receiving your order, provided you have not used the product and that it is returned in an undamaged condition.

If you’re shopping from a country other than Korea you must pay the cost of shipping yourself in case of returns or exchanges, with the exception of mis-deliveries or any damages upon delivery. When handling returns, we apply the Korea Consumer Sales Act of Korea.

How do I make a return or exchage?

If you want to return your order, first send an email to contact-global@wavecompany.net including the word “Return” in the subject line, describing what you want to return.

Place a note with your order number, your name, and reason for returning in the package and we will assist you on the next step to take. 

When we have received your return and it is approved, we will process the refund as soon as possible.
