Our story
A Better Way to Wear Support
WaveWear began with a problem our founder, Nancy Cho, knew firsthand. As an avid runner living with chronic back pain, she was frustrated by constantly buying and discarding disposable kinesiology tape—a habit that hurt both her wallet and the environment. That routine sparked a question: could kinesiology support become part of the clothing we already wear?
In 2018, WaveWear launched its first reusable kinesiology compression product, turning that idea into activewear designed to be worn again and again.

The name “WaveWear” tells our story. Our proprietary AlignX™ adhesive silicone technology is applied to fabric in flowing wave patterns—just like professional kinesiology tape—providing targeted support exactly where your body needs it.
But here's what makes us different: instead of throwing away tape after every use, our reusable compression activewear delivers the same professional-grade kinesiology support wash after wash. Our team
Designed and Made in Korea
Based in South Korea, our specialized 20-person team brings expertise in kinesiology science, textile engineering, and compression garment design. From fabric selection to the placement of our kinesiology support, every WaveWear product undergoes rigorous testing to ensure our compression technology delivers consistent support and comfort.
Since 2018, we've grown from a two-person startup to an international compression activewear brand, with a commitment to innovation and quality that drives everything we do.
