Kinesiology tape 101
Kinesiology tape is a thin, stretchy tape with an adhesive back. Physical therapists and athletes stick it along muscles and joints. As you move, it gently lifts the skin and gives light support, without limiting how you move.
On the shoulders, knees, calves and lower backs of athletes, often in bright colors.
Light support for muscles and joints during training, and extra comfort while recovering.
It is single-use, can leave sticky residue, and has to be cut and applied in the right direction, often with help.
